JOB SUMMARY

The Head of IT and Innovations will lead technological initiatives and drive innovation within our firm. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to manage our IT infrastructure effectively while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with firm objectives, collaborating with senior management to ensure IT initiatives support business goals and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for technological innovation, integration, and continuous improvement to streamline IT operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and availability of systems and data.
  • Lead digital transformation efforts to optimize processes and enhance client experiences, leveraging automation and digital tools.
  • Manage daily IT operations, including network administration, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory, and system backups, ensuring timely maintenance and upgrades.
  • Provide network design, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting for WAN and LANs, ensuring seamless communication and integration between systems and devices.
  • Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners by negotiating contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms, while evaluating vendor offerings to identify strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee the upkeep, updates, and overall performance of the firm’s website and online resources to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
  •  Administer and secure the firm’s email systems and user logins, ensuring proper access control and resolving any related issues.
  • Drive and oversee the development and implementation of innovative software solutions tailored to the firm’s needs, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  •  Provide strategic insights and assessments on the financial benefits and returns of IT products and services to inform investment decisions.
  •  Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to promote the firm’s services and enhance its online presence through various digital channels.
  • Manage and maintain the firm’s IT devices, including installation, configuration, and support, ensuring all devices are secure, up-to-date, and functioning properly.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, allocate resources effectively, and maintain productive relationships with external vendors, negotiating favorable contracts and partnerships.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion, delegating tasks, coordinating resources, and keeping senior management informed of project status.
  • Schedule upgrades, backups, and system maintenance
  • Provide visionary leadership to the IT team, recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and developing talent to build a high-performing organization, and resolving escalated technical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Proven 5 years experience in IT management, with a track record of successfully leading IT initiatives and driving innovation within complex organizations.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a forward-thinking mindset and a passion for driving positive change through technology and innovation.
